1. Bookings & Confirmation

All charter bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed only upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from San Blas Yacht Charters. The remaining balance must be paid according to the timeline specified at the time of booking.

2. Payments

Payment schedules, accepted payment methods, and currency details will be communicated during the booking process. Failure to complete payment within the agreed timeframe may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. Charter Services

San Blas Yacht Charters provides fully managed private catamaran charter experiences in the San Blas archipelago. Itineraries, routes, and activities may be adjusted due to weather conditions, safety considerations, or local regulations.

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests agree to follow all instructions provided by the captain and crew at all times, to behave responsibly onboard, and to respect local laws, customs, and the natural environment. Guests may be held responsible for any damage caused through negligence or misconduct.

5. Safety, Weather & Operational Decisions

San Blas Yacht Charters takes all reasonable measures to ensure the safety and comfort of guests. However, sailing and maritime activities involve inherent risks, and conditions at sea or on land may vary.

​

San Blas is a naturally protected sailing destination and generally enjoys stable conditions year-round. Nevertheless, safety always comes first, and all operational decisions are based on real-time assessments of weather, sea state, road access, and logistical feasibility.

​

Light or occasional rain is common in tropical destinations and does not affect sailing quality or safety. In such conditions, charters and planned activities typically proceed as scheduled.

San Blas Yacht Charters shall not be held liable for itinerary changes, delays, interruptions, or incidents arising from weather conditions, sea state, road access limitations, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including force majeure events.

6. Changes, Cancellations & Force Majeure

San Blas Yacht Charters reserves the right to modify or cancel a charter in the event of conditions that compromise safety or essential logistics, including but not limited to persistent, non-stop heavy rain, unsafe or inaccessible road conditions, or weather and sea conditions that prevent safe navigation or transfers.

In cases where a charter is canceled by the operator due to the circumstances outlined above, a full refund will apply.

7. Liability

Participation in a private yacht charter involves inherent risks. Guests acknowledge and accept these risks. San Blas Yacht Charters, its owners, crew, and affiliates shall not be liable for personal injury, loss, or damage except where required by applicable law.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Panama.
